Black Tourmaline is a black crystalline aluminum borosilicate mineral with occasional light gray inclusions that appear as flecks or veins. Tourmaline is classified as a semiprecious stone and occurs in a vast array of colors, everything from colorless to black, from pastel to bright to dark. It can even exhibit various colors within the same specimen. Its name derives from the Sinhalese word “turamali,” which translates to “stone of many colors.”
Tourmalinated Quartz is clear rock crystal (crystal quartz) which has grown together with black tourmaline, and shows strands of the tourmaline running through the quartz, hence “tourmalinated.”
Black Tourmaline is probably “the’ stone when dealing with negative energy. Not only does black tourmaline help get rid of negative energy, it also work on attracting positive energy. Black tourmaline has other interesting qualities that truly makes it a mysterious gemstone.

Are your stones authentic?
Our stone beads and pendants are purchased from a US company that ethically sources it’s raw material. Although rare, anything different will be noted in the description.
Why do you not have a large variety of stone beads?
We watch our manufacturer for sales and special runs and buy when it allows us to offer our customers the best price. Stone beads we do list are a limited supply.
There is something missing or wrong with my order. What do I do?
Unfortunately there is a scamming trend where people go back to old orders and claimed they never received something. We triple check all orders and document on the packing slip we enclose with each order. We are only human and do make mistakes but if you have an issue, you have one week from delivery confirmation to let us know. You must also have and submit a picture of the original packing slip.
